Although modern Jumilla is best-known for its important wine production, the town also has a great number of monuments relating to its historical and religious past, the most important of which belong to the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries.
This tour explores some of the many "ermitas" or chapels, within the town, including those of San José, Santa María del Arrabel, San Roque, San Antón and San Agustín, all of them part of the annual calendar of saint's days around which the annual cultural and religious calendar of the municipality revolves.
The tour is in Spanish and departs from the Jardín del Rey Don Pedro (which is alongside the Paseo del Poeta Lorenzo Guardiola) at 11:30.
Booking is essential as places are limited.
