ARCHIVED - 5 new drone vigilance pilots qualify in Aledo as fire season hots up
Drones have become as essential for vigilance services as being able to swim is for lifeguards
5 new qualified and licensed drone pilots are now ready and willing to join the ranks of Protección Civil volunteers in Aledo having gained the professional qualifications required to competently handle drones as demanded by AESA.
With the fire season hotting up and firecrews expected to be busy in the coming weeks, these eyes in the sky are a highly cost-effective way of rapidly checking up on reports of fire and covering a wide area in the search for potential problems, as well as providing an increasingly used service for general rescue work.
