This is a completely independent country house located at the race circuit in Finca del Olmo in the Jumilla countryside, and contains 5 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge with pool table and a living-dining area with a table for 18. The kitchen is incorporated into the dining area, making it the ideal venue for a large family group or a social weekend.
Due to its location Finca del Olmo is popular among motor sports enthusiasts, but it is also set in a wide swathe of countryside and a beautiful rural environment, with views out towards the mountains of Sierra del Carche to the north (maximum altitude 1,372 metres, higher than Ben Nevis!) and Sierra de la Pila to the south. Activities offered at Finca del Olmo include hunting, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, karting, buggy routes, country walks and even helicopter and balloon flights.
Needless to say, the generally warm climate of the Region of Murcia means that all of these activities are offered all year round, as are visits to the bodegas featured in the Jumilla Wine Route (to which Casa los Ángeles is affiliated).
How to find Finca del Olmo and Casa los Ángeles
Leave the A-33 Murcia-Jumilla motorway at kilometre 25 and take the N-344 road (the old main road which runs alongside) for around 3 kilometres heading north. At the roundabout, turn right (back over the motorway) on the RM-427 towards Pinoso, and after 8 kilometres or so Finca del Olmo is signposted on the right (see map).
