A small country property with swimming pool just 10 minutes’ drive from Jumilla

Casa Rural Consuelo is a rural property located around 10 minutes’ drive from the town of Jumilla, in the middle of the fertile farmland between the town and the mountains which stand to the west.

It is surrounded by Ercolini pear orchards – Jumilla is perhaps best known for its wines, but its pear growers also boast Denomination of Origin status – and occupies an area of 26,000 square metres, providing an atmosphere of rural tranquillity and intimacy.

Accommodation consists of one room with double bed and one room for three people, plus a living and dining room with fireplace, TV and sofa bed (for 2 people). The property enjoys air conditioning and a swimming pool for visitors during the warm summer months (heaters are installed for the winter), and a cot can be made available on request.

Other features include a selection of books, a fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, and coffee machine, a hair dryer, cleaning utensils and materials and various children’s toys, while outside there is garden furniture and a barbecue alongside the pool (which is in use from 1^st June to 15^th September).

Note: Information about the surrounding area is provided, and other services available include bicycle hire, washing, firewood supply, guided walks and suggestions for walking routes, and visits to wineries in and around Jumilla. There is also a motocross circuit nearby. Pets are not permitted.

How to find Casa Rural Consuelo

Approaching on the RM-714 road which rings Jumilla to the south, leave the main road at the junction at kilometre 69 and head south (signposted Venta del Olivo and Calasparra). Turn right after 1.2 km, right again after another 1.3 km, and then left after 500 metres. Casa Rural Consuelo is signposted on the right (see map). 

The access road is unsurfaced, but this is flat land and except in times of heavy rain access is not problematic.
