Andalucia weather forecast January 2-5: Sunshine until Saturday, rain on Sunday
Warm weather and beautiful sunshine is expected in Andalucia this weekend, until Sunday brings the rain
As the New Year begins, Andalucia will have beautiful sunny skies until Sunday brings the rain. Temperatures are to remain in the high teens and the sun will only give way to clouds and rain at the end of the weekend.
With little to no cloud cover for much of the weekend, and with little wind throughout the region, Andalucia will continue to enjoy the winter sunshine. Furthermore, the temperatures are set to become mild in the evenings and nights by the weekend.
Thursday January 2
High 19ºC Low -2ºC
The weather is set to be clear throughout the entirety of Thursday January 2 in Andalucia. Blue skies will be enjoyed by much of the region and the temperatures will be very mild for this time of year. Highs will reach 19ºC in the day in Malaga, and drop at night to around -2ºC in places such as Granada. There is also not expected to be any cloud cover during the day, so the skies will be blue for all to enjoy.
Furthermore, the wind is expected to be very light throughout the day, and will reach speeds of no more than 10 kph in the region. The wind that will be present will be coming from a northeasterly direction throughout much of the day, but will do nothing to affect the warmth of the air.
Friday January 3
High 21ºC Low 0ºC
The forecast is predicting another clear day on Friday January 3 in the region. The blue skies will not be obstructed by clouds and the sun will shine brightly. The temperature is set to rise a little from the previous day, with highs of 21ºC in the afternoon in Malaga, and lows of only 0ºC in the night in Cordoba.
The wind will be very similar compared to the day before throughout the region of Andalucia. The wind that will be experienced is likely to come again from a northeasterly direction and will reach no higher than 10 kph throughout the day.
Saturday January 4
High 22ºC Low 3ºC
The fine weather of the previous two days is set to change a little as we go into Saturday January 4. The day will be full of sunshine, warm weather and clear skies for many parts of the region. The west however will suffer from cloud cover in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures will be at 22ºC during the day in Malaga, as the minimum temperatures during the night will fall to around 3ºC in Huelva.
The wind is also going to remain the same as the previous day, reaching no higher than 8 kph. The wind that is set to be present will come again from a northeasterly direction. This light wind will do nothing however to affect the beautifully sunny day which is expected on Saturday in the south and east of the region.
Sunday January 5
High 20ºC Low 4ºC
The weather is looking to change drastically on Sunday January 5, as the sun gives way to clouds and rainfall throughout much of the region. The temperature is looking to fall slightly from the previous two days, with highs of 20ºC in the day. The minimum temperature however will be up to 4ºC during the night.
