ARCHIVED - Barcelona trams equipped with PPE
Facemasks on trams remind commuters that public transport is safe
In an effort to reinforce the message that face masks must be worn and that public transport can be used safely, the trams of Barcelona are being redecorated with their own vinyl masks in the shade of light blue which has become such a familiar sight all over Spain over the last few months.
Commuters on the Trambaix and Trambesòs lines which cross Barcelona are now travelling on trams which are fully equipped to avoid contagion with the appropriate measures having been implemented not only inside the vehicles but also on the outside!
