ARCHIVED - Calblanque 4:40 bus service begins on 11th July to beaches of Calblanque regional park
4:40 means four wheels can carry as many as 40 wheels if individual cars were to be allowed to drive into the park
The beaches within the Calblanque regional park are some of the most beautiful in the region, but access numbers are limited due to the restricted parking facilities on the edge of the park. It’s quite a distance from the parking to the beach so a bus service operates, starting from 11th July, with buses every 20 minutes.
As parking is limited, the service begins in Los Belones, where there is more parking.
Running from Los Belones every 20 minutes the Calblanque bus service takes visitors straight to the Calblanque beaches within the regional park
Start point: Los Belones; Lines 1 and 2, every 20 minutes from 09:15 onwards last departure from the park back to los Belones at 20.30.
Line 1 goes to Playa Larga and Playa Negrete, Line 2 goes via the Salinas to the Playa de Calblanque
The second stop is at the entrance to the Calblanque regional park where vehicles can park and tickets can be purchased for the bus. Please note, parking here is limited and during the peak summer months it is often difficult to park here, hence the 1st stop in Los Belones.
Ticket cost:
Normal; one way 2 euros, return 3 euros
Reduced price tickets for children under 12 or pensioners over 65, 1 euro one way, 1.50 euros return.
Season ticket: 10 return trips for 20 euros
Additional information:
• Access to the beach area with motor vehicles at night is not allowed.
• The presence of dogs in the beach area is not allowed.
• Fishing, bus access and horseback riding are subject to environmental authorization.

• Almost all the lands of the Regional Park are private property.
• Access to motor vehicles will be allowed until the admissible vehicle reception capacity is reached in the parking areas. Once this capacity is reached, access to these areas will not be allowed.
