The Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort is located just outside Fuente Álamo, a rural farming town in the centre of the South West of the Region of Murcia.

The resort is 40 minutes from the San Javier Airport, and just 20 minutes from the new Corvera International Airport which is due to be opened in Summer 2013.

Fuente Álamo is strategically located, with good Motorway links to both the Capital of the Region of Murcia, Murcia City, Cartagena, a major port and cruise ship destination, Mazarrón, with over 30 kilometres of open beaches, the Mar Menor, Europe´s largest salt water lake which is  a mecca for water sports enthusiasts and sailors, as well as a major summer holiday destination for the Spanish, and the nearby towns of Alhama de Murcia and Totana, both of which are on the edge of the Sierra Espuña natural park, an area popular with walkers and lovers of the great outdoors.

Alhama de Murcia is also the projected location for the Paramount Murcia Theme Park, due to open in 2015.

It is just a few minutes drive ( 3km) from Fuente Álamo, with supermarkets, plenty of shops, weekly street market, library, 24 hour Health centre, dentists, hairdressers, banks, schools, restaurants and good sports facilities, including an indoor swimming pool.

It is also in the centre of an area which is highly popular with ex-pats, both as a holiday destination, location for a holiday property or for residential living, so offers plenty of opportunities to interact with the ex-pat community and join one of the many clubs, societies, sporting clubs or voluntary associations in the area.

Residents on Hacienda have the luxury of their own privacy, security and top level services, with all the many advantages of the Region of Murcia and the ex-pat community within easy reach.
