Man wanted in Belgium for drug trafficking arrested in Murcia

The Spanish National Police recently arrested a man in Murcia who was wanted in Belgium for drug trafficking. Although he had been living in the area for some time, he was eventually located by officers when he went to a public government office to carry out routine administrative paperwork. It was during these standard procedures that his identity and legal status were flagged by the authorities.

Before making the arrest, local officers had been conducting an investigation to confirm the man's identity and his movements within the city. They had received information suggesting he was living in Region of Murcia and worked to establish exactly where he was staying and what he was doing locally.
