Ave Oriens at the archaeological museum of Cehegín

One of the main events of the Holy Jubilee Year in Cehegín in 2025 and 2026, which is being held to celebrate the 300^th anniversary of the arrival of the figure of the Virgen de las Maravillas in the town, is this exhibition under the title of Ave Oriens at the Museo Arqueológico.

The exhibits allow visitors to relive centuries of history, art and devotion, all related to the Virgen de las Maravillas, with items of extraordinary value brought together for the first time.

The exhibition runs until the national holiday of 8th December and is open between 9.00 and 14.00 every day and on Saturday afternoons during the summer from 18.00 to 20.00. After the summer the Saturday afternoon timetable changes to 16.30 - 18.30.

Admission is free of charge.
